Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Commission Sales Representative specializing in Transportation and Logistics to join our team at Simple Trek, LLC. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate sales and drive revenue through effective communication, relationship-building, and sales strategies. As a Commission Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting our solutions, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This role offers a commission-based compensation structure, providing ample opportunities for high earnings potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development:
Identify and prospect potential clients within the transportation and logistics industry, including shippers, freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
Conduct market research to identify key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and develop targeted sales strategies.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering trust and credibility.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.
Sales Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and maximum profitability.
Close sales deals efficiently and effectively, meeting or exceeding predetermined sales targets.
Market Analysis and Feedback:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Provide feedback to the management team regarding product performance, market demand, and customer preferences to enhance our offerings and strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in commission-based sales roles, preferably in a related industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
Demonstrated knowledge of transportation logistics processes, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other sales tools for lead tracking and management.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years experience in Business to Business (B2B), professional services, or enterprise sales preferred.
Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies, as well as shipping & transportation knowledge, is advantageous.
